Our Weather

Fano and surroundings

All to discover the beautiful hinterland of Fano dotted with hills where are preserved aristocratic seventeenth-century villas, castles, fortresses and medieval villages. This is the land of “one hundred villages“: many microcosms, still able to fascinate and excite. Some are registered among the circuit “the most beautiful villages in Italy”, all are rich in great charm, immersed in an atmosphere of other times, rich in history and life. And in every village, you will discover tasty gastronomic excellences: from wine to oil, from truffles to homemade pasta, from legumes to rare flours, from “Marchigiana breed” meats to sausages and cheeses, including the characteristic local cheese “formaggio di fossa” aged even today like centuries ago in the tuff quarry and in the straw.
